In 1943, amidst the desperate innovations of WWII, the USS Eldridge participates in a clandestine naval experiment aiming for invisibility, unknowingly fracturing the boundaries of time and reality. Two sailors are violently displaced decades into the future, grappling with a bewildering 1984 and the horrifying physical and psychological aftermath of their involuntary journey.
