## Synopsis

LOL: Chi ride è fuori (2021-present) is an Italian reality comedy competition created by Chiara Simeoni for Prime Video. Ten professional comedians are locked into a grueling six-hour contest in which each one tries to keep a perfectly straight face while rivals hurl jokes, teasing and provocations at them. A first laugh earns a warning and a second laugh eliminates the contestant, so the tension builds as the field thins out. Host Fedez guides the proceedings alongside Mara Maionchi, with comedians including Caterina Guzzanti, Katia Follesa, Lillo Petrolo, Michela Giraud, Ciro Priello and Elio taking part across the series. The engine is simple and cruel: every comedian wants to outlast the others and walk away with the EUR100,000 prize, which goes to a charity of their choice. Each season is a self-contained contest rather than a continuing story, so episodes unfold as escalating rounds of nerves and mischief. The tone is playful and sharply competitive, with deadpan faces and quick comic reactions doing the work. Fans of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Taskmaster and Survivor will find resonance in its blend of improvised humor and endurance-driven elimination. Now in its sixth season, it remains a lively Italian comedy event.
