## Synopsis

The Terminal List (2022- present) is an American action drama series created by David DiGilio for Prime Video and adapted from a novel. Chris Pratt stars as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece, a veteran who, after the murder of his entire platoon, leaves the military's command structure behind to hunt the mysterious forces responsible. Riley Keough plays his sister Lauren Reece, Taylor Kitsch plays former comrade Ben Edwards, and Constance Wu plays Katie Buranek, with Jeanne Tripplehorn cast as Secretary Hartley. The engine of the series is Reece's private campaign of vengeance, a pursuit that draws on nearly two decades of warfare to track down people in government and the military. Each episode is built around investigation, covert operations and violent confrontations, and the story expands across an ongoing serialized run that is currently airing its second season. The tone is grim and brooding, with a dark, lethal atmosphere in which violence carries real cost and the moral lines blur. Viewers who enjoy military thrillers in the vein of Jack Reacher and Jack Ryan will find the same mix of conspiracy plotting, a lone operator and hard-edged action. The series is set in contemporary America and follows a veteran who refuses to accept the official story of what happened to his men.
