## Synopsis

Ku'damm 63 (2021) is a German limited series created by Annette Hess for ZDF, a three-episode miniseries of 45 minutes each. After the Second World War, single mother Caterina Schöllack (Claudia Michelsen) takes over the management of the Galant dance school on Kurfürstendamm, the famous boulevard known as Ku'damm, in Berlin. Her husband has not come home and is officially missing, leaving the family in limbo while she fights to keep the business alive and to steer her three daughters through a city in rapid change. Her daughters, including Monika (Sonja Gerhardt), Helga (Maria Ehrich) and Eva (Emilia Schüle), each chase their own desires, from dancing to romance to independence, while the postwar economy and old attitudes press in on them.
