## Synopsis

Greek Salad (2023) is a French television sequel series created by Cédric Klapisch for Prime Video. It follows Tom (Aliocha Schneider) and Mia (Megan Northam), the grown children of the protagonists of the film L'Auberge espagnole, as they spend time in Athens. Their summer is shaped by an inheritance, a startup sale, unfaithfulness and the tangled ties of a blended family, while a cast including Aggy K. Adams as Lily, Dimitris Kitsos as Kristos and Fotinì Peluso as Giulia moves through the city's apartment buildings and wealthy circles. The series is a single eight-episode season of roughly fifty-two minute installments, presented as one continuing story. Its wry, warm and occasionally melancholic register treats romantic and family upheaval with light detachment, and its Athens setting brings in threads about displacement and a refugee camp. Set in contemporary Greece, the show plays out with the cosmopolitan, talky energy of its predecessor. Fans of L'Auberge espagnole, Sense8 and Girls will find resonance in its young adult wandering, its European ensemble and its gently comic take on love and family.
