## Synopsis

Inside Man (2022) is a British four-episode limited series created by Steven Moffat for BBC One, a crime thriller built around three strangers whose lives collide in unexpected ways. David Tennant plays Harry Watling, a quiet figure drawn into a dangerous tangle, while Stanley Tucci plays Jefferson Grieff, a death row prisoner whose fate becomes entangled with his. Dolly Wells plays Janice Fife, and Lydia West plays Beth Davenport, both pulled into the widening web. The engine of the story is a set of hidden connections that gradually surface, as ordinary people in a quiet English town are forced to confront a menacing situation far from their normal routines. Each hour peels back another layer of the mystery, and the tension builds through confined spaces and unsettling confrontations. Shaped as one continuous arc across four episodes, it moves with the tight pacing of a compact thriller and rewards close attention. Its tone is tense and moody, with a sense of moral unease running beneath the twists. Fans of Ransom, The Night Manager and Broadchurch will find resonance in its blend of British crime drama, personal stakes and carefully engineered suspense. The series delivers a contained, atmospheric British thriller that suits viewers seeking a compact, gripping mystery.
