## Synopsis

Wonder Pets! (2006-2016) is an American preschool animated series created by Josh Selig and Jennifer Oxley for Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Three classroom pets, the guinea pig Linny, the turtle Tuck and the duckling Ming-Ming, morph into rescuers as soon as school lets out. Their engine is simple and joyful: an animal somewhere in the world is in trouble, and the trio sails off in their fantastic Flyboat to help pandas, elephants and other animals, relying on teamwork and song to solve each problem. The show runs three seasons and 114 episodes of brisk, self-contained twenty-two minute adventures built around cooperation and gentle problem solving. Set in a bright, storybook version of the modern world, it has a sunny, comforting, sing-along register. Fans of Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go! and Bubble Guppies will find the same blend of animal rescue, music and early-learning warmth.
