## Synopsis

Akebi's Sailor Uniform is a Japanese animated slice of life comedy produced by CloverWorks and based on the manga by Shueisha. The series follows first-year junior high student Komichi Akebi, whose single-minded wish is to wear the sailor uniform of Robai Private Academy. Her driving force is the excitement of a new chapter, so each episode turns ordinary school days into events: lunches shared with new classmates, lessons, club activities, and the hunt for friendship. Erika Kizaki and Touko Usagihara help anchor the group of girls around her. Its episodes are self-contained vignettes that can be dipped into one at a time. The tone is sunny, gentle and cheerful, with a warm sense of wonder at small everyday pleasures. Fans of Yuru Yuri, K-On! and Sweetness and Lightning will find a similar comfort in its light school comedy and quiet friendship.
