## Synopsis

Not Me (2021-2022) is a Thai national-television crime mystery series created by Thanutnun Vitsivakun for GMM 25, produced by GMMTV and adapted from a novel. White, who returns to Thailand after years abroad, finds his twin Black lying in a coma and begins disguising himself as Black to expose the betrayal behind it. Atthaphan Phunsawat plays both twins, while Jumpol Adulkittiporn as Sean, Kanaphan Puitrakul as Yok, Tanutchai Wijitvongtong as Gram and Gawin Caskey as Dan form the circle of friends whose loyalties are tested as the investigation closes in. The engine of the story is the slow peeling back of lies: each episode of this single fourteen-episode season moves White deeper into his brother's world, forcing him to read faces, trust old friends and weigh the cost of every false step. The show carries a social-commentary edge on corruption, capitalism and protest, set against a contemporary Thai university and city backdrop. Its tone is tense and emotionally charged, with bonds of friendship pulling against revenge. Fans of Money Heist and Squid Game will find resonance in its layered conspiracy and its young ensemble under pressure, while those drawn to Girl From Nowhere will recognize its Thai teen-drama energy.
