## Synopsis

Under Fire (2021-2024) is a Flemish-language Belgian drama series created by Carl Plaisier, Toon Anthoni and Jasper Moeyaert for VRT 1. Set at East Bank Station, a close-knit firehouse, the show follows a crew of firefighters led by Orlando Foncke (Louis Talpe) and includes Dominique Meersman (Lien De Graeve), Boris Weber (Wouter Bruneel), and Nina Gonzales (Alessia Sartor) among its principal cast. Its engine is the collision between the physical danger of each call and the private troubles the crew carries home, as personal challenges and professional setbacks press against the bonds that hold the team together. Rather than a case-of-the-week format, the series unfolds as an ongoing ensemble story across three seasons and twenty-eight episodes, letting relationships and grudges build over time. The tone is earnest and grounded, with tension arising from emergency sequences and quieter stretches of camaraderie and strain. Fans of Chicago Fire, Third Watch and Rescue Me will find a similar blend of firehouse camaraderie, high-stakes rescue work and human fallout.
