## Synopsis

Last One Laughing (2021-present) is a German reality competition series produced for Prime Video, a comedic celebrity contest in which ten top stars of German comedy try to outlast one another without cracking. Among the participants are Anke Engelke, Max Giermann, Barbara Schöneberger, Michael Mittermeier and Torsten Sträter, while hosts Michael Herbig and Hape Kerkeling, the latter as his character Horst Schlämmer, keep the proceedings moving. The engine of each episode is simple: contestants must remain serious while their rivals deploy every provocation, prank and bit of absurdity they can devise, and the last performer who keeps a straight face wins. Each season is a self-contained run of six episodes, and the show has continued across seven seasons, building a steady following around its sharp timing and friendly rivalry. The atmosphere is breezy, playful and irreverent, with the comedic tension of watching famous faces struggle to hold their composure. Fans of Celebrity Big Brother, Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Hell's Kitchen will find familiar pleasures in its mix of personality, competition and laughter.
