## Synopsis

Skeleton Knight in Another World (2022-2026) is a Japanese isekai anime series produced by Studio KAI and aired on AT-X, TOKYO MX and BS11, adapted from a light novel. It follows Arc, a gamer who falls asleep at his controller and wakes inside the fantasy game world he loved, now trapped in the frightening skeletal body of his avatar. Voiced by Tomoaki Maeno, Arc wants nothing more than a quiet life, but his plans collapse when he crosses paths with the elven warrior Arianne, voiced by Fairouz Ai, and is pulled into a series of conflicts. Alongside him are Nene Hieda's Ponta and Miyu Tomita's Chiyome, whose companionship grounds the chaos. Each episode mixes lighthearted domestic moments with monster hunts, magic battles and fights that rely on the gear and stats of a video game world. The two-season run, twenty-four episodes in total, stays episodic, with each adventure resolving within its episode while the cast gradually grows. The tone is cheerful and self-deprecating, with comedy built on the mismatch between Arc's frightening appearance and his gentle nature. Fans of Overlord, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Sword Art Online will find a familiar, easygoing pleasure in its game-world fantasy.
