## Synopsis

The Scent of Passion (2021-2021) is a Colombian national-television telenovela soap opera created by Adriana Suarez for RCN. William Levy plays Sebastian Vallejo, whose romantic life is bound up with Teresa "Gaviota" Suárez (Laura Londoño), while Carmen Villalobos plays Lucia Sanclemente and Diego Cadavid plays Iván Vallejo inside the wider family orbit. The engine of the series is romantic passion pulling against family loyalty and rivalry, with each of its 92 episodes of roughly 45 minutes building heated confrontations, tender reconciliations and fresh heartbreak across one completed season. Set in a contemporary urban Colombia, the story unfolds in the glossy, melodramatic register of a classic Latin American soap, with sultry tones, bold emotions and sweeping romantic gestures. Its grand dramas and warm domestic textures suit fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea and Pasión de Gavilanes, and viewers who want an emotionally rich, finished telenovela to lose themselves in over a few weeks.
