## Synopsis

Bionic Six (1987-1993) is an American animated superhero series created for USA Network, a Tokyo Movie Shinsha production that carries the Saturday morning action tradition of 1980s television. Its title characters are the Bennett family, augmented with bionic technology so that each member gains a distinct power, including father Jack Bennett (voiced by John Stephenson) and mother Helen Bennett (voiced by Carol Bilger). Together they form the Bionic Six, a superhero team that takes on the schemes of Dr. Wilmer Sharp (voiced by Jim MacGeorge), an evil scientist whose experiments threaten the world. Across two seasons and 65 episodes of roughly twenty-two minutes each, the series is built from self-contained action adventures in which the family confronts a new scheme, relying on teamwork and their gadgetry. The tone is brisk, earnest and playful, with bright colors and a clear moral line between heroes and villains. Fans of The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman and Super Friends will find familiar resonance in its mix of cybernetic heroics and family loyalty.
