## Synopsis

Hello Tomorrow! (2023) is an American retro-futuristic science fiction comedy created by Lucas Jansen and Amit Bhalla for Apple TV. Billy Crudup plays charismatic salesman Jack Billings, who leads a team of fellow sales associates, including Hank Azaria as Eddie Nicholls and Alison Pill as Myrtle Mayburn, in hawking timeshares on the moon. Jack believes fiercely in the brighter lives his customers can buy, and the engine of the series is his ambitious pitch set against the stubborn doubts of his crew and the gap between glossy promise and hard reality. Each episode turns on a new sales push, a fresh target customer, and the small schemes that keep the team afloat. Across one ten-episode season, the story leans on the mid-century optimism of its setting, rendered as a stylized vision of space age americana. The tone is breezy, witty and sardonic, with an undercurrent of wistful melancholy about the dreams people are sold. Fans of Severance, Upload and Parks and Recreation will find resonance in its satirical workplace comedy and its earnest, offbeat ensemble. The series was canceled after its single season and its story is left unfinished.
