## Synopsis

Miss the Dragon (2021) is a Chinese xianxia romance series produced for Tencent Video and WeTV, a single-season run of 36 episodes of about 35 minutes each. A young maidservant named Liu Ying (Zhu Xudan) rescues a snake on behalf of her young mistress, only to learn the creature is Yuchu Longyan, a thousand-year-old dragon played by Dylan Wang, who insists on marrying her to repay her kindness. Their bond is stretched across three lifetimes, so the story moves between eras as the two souls find each other again and again. Deng Wei plays Xue Qianxun, a figure whose presence complicates the lovers' path, while Pan Meiye adds warmth as Qingqing. Each episode leans on fated encounters, shifting identities, and the weight of obligation pulling against desire. The tone is lush and sentimental, with wuxia-style spectacle, gentle comedy, and an undercurrent of longing. Its immortal mythology and reincarnation framework will appeal to viewers who enjoy the emotional pull of Eternal Love and the fated romance of Love Between Fairy and Devil.
