## Synopsis

Mad for Each Other (2021) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created for Kakao TV, with a thirteen-episode run of about thirty-five minutes each. Noh Hwi-oh, played by Jung Woo, and Lee Min-kyung, played by Oh Yeon-seo, are next-door neighbors who discover they share a psychiatrist, so their bickering keeps spilling into each other's lives. The engine is simple and playful: each wants to keep the other at arm's length, yet every attempt to avoid the rival brings them back into the same orbit. Supporting figures from their wider circle, including Baek Ji-won as Kim In-ja, add warmth and complication to the everyday routines of a shared apartment block. Each episode unfolds through small confrontations, awkward accidents and quiet confessions, with the therapy sessions gradually exposing the wounds beneath the sharp exchanges. The tone is witty and breezy yet tender, with a healing undercurrent that rewards viewers who enjoy slow-building chemistry. Fans of Crash Landing on You and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will find resonance in its blend of romance, humor and emotional recovery, all set in a contemporary Seoul residential setting that feels familiar and intimate.
