## Synopsis

Errands (Ayak İşleri, 2021-2024) is a Turkish comedy series created by Caner Özyurtlu and Volkan Öge for GAİN. Veteran missionary Vedat, played by Çağlar Çorumlu, and Evren, a political corrector who studied philosophy and is played by Güven Murat Akpınar, form a mismatched pair dispatched on the extremely important errands of a wealthy businessman. Each episode sends the odd couple on a fresh adventure, and the comedy comes from the friction between Vedat, who closes his eyes and simply does his duty, and Evren, who questions every step he takes. The show runs for four seasons and thirty-eight episodes of roughly twenty-five minutes each, ending on a bittersweet note. Its episodes are self-contained assignments rather than one continuing arc, so the pleasure lies in the escalating misadventures and the deepening bond between two very different men. Set in contemporary Istanbul, the tone stays breezy and sardonic, with a wry, character-driven humor that rewards viewers who enjoy odd couple banter and absurd situations. Fans of Reno 911!, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Community will find resonance in its mismatched partnership and its skeptical, talky comic sensibility.
