## Synopsis

My Adventures with Superman (2023-present) is an American animated superhero series created for Adult Swim, a Warner Bros. Animation production drawn from the DC comics universe. Jack Quaid voices Clark Kent, the young reporter who is still discovering the powers that will make him Superman, while Alice Lee voices the bright, driven Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid voices their loyal friend Jimmy Olsen. The three are twenty-somethings working as investigative reporters at the Daily Planet, and the engine of the show is their attempt to uncover stories and make a real difference together while Clark's abilities and identity slowly come into focus. Episodes move briskly through a mix of field reporting, alien encounters, and superhero action, with supporting voices such as Chris Parnell as Agent Slade Wilson adding conflict and pressure. The series runs across three seasons of ten episodes each, and it plays as a coming of age story, balancing young adult humor and friendship with the hopeful spirit of a classic superhero. Its tone is light, earnest and warm, with a playful irreverence that suits the newsroom setting. Fans of Young Justice, Invincible and Teen Titans will find resonance in its animated superhero energy and its focus on young heroes finding their footing.
