## Synopsis

Be My Sunshine (2021) is a Turkish romantic comedy-drama series created by Ali Bilgin for Star TV. City businesswoman Haziran (Ayça Ayşin Turan) arrives on Swallow Island, where she collides with Poyraz Ali Özgür (Alp Navruz), a handsome, helpful young islander whose kindness is matched only by his stubbornness. Their constant arguments over work, pride and the island's way of life become the engine of the series, as each clash reveals a little more about who they are and what they could become to each other. Supporting characters from the island community, including Selma (Nihan Büyükağaç), Zeynep (İpek Tenolcay) and Görkem (Bülent Çolak), add warmth, gossip and local rivalries that keep the story lively. Presented as a single season of twenty-five long episodes, the show moves at a leisurely pace, letting its romance develop through everyday routines, seaside scenery and small-town friction. Its tone is light and sweet, with comedic bickering giving way to tender, wistful moments. Viewers who enjoy the bickering romance of Pride and Prejudice or the island-set warmth of Turkish dramas will find a comfortable, affectionate watch.
