## Synopsis

At a Distance, Spring is Green (2021) is a South Korean coming of age drama series created by Ji Nyoong for KBS2. Following a single season of twelve hour-long episodes, it centres on Nam Soo-hyun (Bae In-hyuk) and Yeo Joon (Park Ji-hoon), two young men with sharply contrasting personalities who unexpectedly become friends when they are paired on a university project. Their developing bond drives the story, while the surrounding campus world brings in pressures of study, money and uncertain futures for people in their twenties. Kang Min-ah and Kwon Eun-bin appear among the principal cast as the wider circle of classmates and acquaintances who test and shape the friendship. Adapted from a webtoon, the series has a gentle, earnest and wistful register, with moments of light comedy and quieter reflection on mental health and belonging. Its episodes unfold at a measured pace around everyday campus life, making it a fit for viewers who enjoy character driven youth stories in the vein of Reply 1988 and Stand By Me. Fans of intimate friendship dramas and Korean campus romance will find its focus on two young men learning to understand each other familiar and resonant.
