## Synopsis

Elite Short Stories: Carla Samuel (2021) is a Spanish romantic drama limited series created by Carlos Montero and released on Netflix. Spanning three episodes of roughly fifteen minutes each, it follows Samuel Garcia (Itzan Escamilla) as he attempts a big, romantic gesture at an airport to persuade Carla Roson (Ester Expósito) not to board her flight to London. The engine of the story is a single charged window of time, in which Samuel's longing and Carla's determination collide amid the bustle of departures, lounges and chance encounters around the terminal. Each short episode lingers on glances, hesitations and the emotional weight of a decision that cannot wait. Shot with the polished, glossy look of contemporary Spanish streaming drama, the miniseries feels intimate and urgent, with a wistful, romantic register and a sense of bittersweet longing.
