## Synopsis

Elite Short Stories: Omar Ander Alexis (2021) is a Spanish drama miniseries created for Netflix. Across three fifteen-minute episodes, Ander (Arón Piper), now in remission from cancer, spends his summer helping Alexis (Jorge Clemente), his fellow chemotherapy patient, get through treatment. Omar Shanna (Omar Ayuso) appears as a principal figure in the same circle of young people. The engine of the story is simple and emotional: the small daily work of showing up for a friend, the hospital corridors, the waiting rooms and the quiet negotiations between hope and fear that surround treatment. Each episode is a compact, intimate vignette rather than a sprawling plot, so the drama lives in glances, conversations and the unspoken loyalty between two young men. The limited run has a single season, and its tone is tender, melancholic and sincere, with moments of dry humour and warmth. Its production sits within the broader Elite franchise universe and its contemporary Spanish setting gives the material an everyday immediacy. Viewers who enjoy gentle, character driven illness dramas and emotionally grounded coming of age stories in the vein of Please Like Me or Atypical will find resonance here.
