## Synopsis

Maggie (2022) is a single-season American comedy series created by Justin Adler and Maggie Mull, broadcast on Hulu, and this limited series runs just thirteen episodes of roughly twenty-three minutes each before its cancellation. Rebecca Rittenhouse plays Maggie, a psychic who routinely glimpses the future of her friends, parents, clients and passing strangers, treating her gift as an everyday nuisance. The engine of the show is her sudden vision of her own future, which forces her to stop managing everyone else's lives and start living in the present. Each episode follows her through ordinary Los Angeles days of dating, work and family obligations, with David Del Rio as Ben, Nichole Sakura as Louise, and Chris Elliott as Jack among the people drawn into her orbit. The tone is breezy and light, with a supernatural premise handled as domestic comedy rather than spectacle. Fans of Pushing Daisies, Ghosts and Chuck will find a similar blend of quirky gifts, warm ensemble friendships and romantic complications. Audience reception was mixed, with viewers rating the single season modestly.
