## Synopsis

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix (2023) is an American adult animated science fiction series created by Adi Shankar for Netflix. Adapted from the Ubisoft video game lineage of Blood Dragon, the six-episode season follows Dolph Laserhawk, a cyborg supersoldier branded an enemy of the state, voiced by Nathaniel Curtis. He drifts through a dystopian society where loyalties shift and nothing is what it seems, searching for a cause worth fighting for. Supporting voices include Caroline Ford as The Warden and David Menkin as Rayman, with Adi Shankar also voicing Red. Each short episode of roughly twenty-four minutes pairs kinetic action set pieces with irreverent, self-aware humor and a glowing retro neon palette that nods to 1980s and 1990s action cinema. The tone blends brash comedy with bursts of violence and cyberpunk unease, a rowdy, high-energy romp that rewards viewers who enjoy adult animation with a video game sensibility. Fans of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Arcane will find resonance in its stylized spectacle and mature edge, while lovers of Hotline Miami will recognize its synth-soaked, violent swagger. A single season of six episodes makes this a quick, punchy watch for fans of cyberpunk animation.
