## Synopsis

The Girl in the Mirror (2022) is a Spanish supernatural horror mystery series created by Sergio G. Sánchez for Netflix. Mireia Oriol stars as Alma, a young woman who wakes up with her memory wiped after a bizarre accident kills most of her classmates. Her search for what happened that day and for her own identity drives the story, as fragments of memory surface and the people around her seem to know more than they admit. Alex Villazán, Pol Monen and Javier Morgade appear among the principal cast, with Claudia Roset, Nil Cardoner and Milena Smit rounding out the young ensemble. The series runs for a single season of nine episodes, each around forty-four minutes long, and plays as one continuing story rather than a case of the week. Its tone is eerie and unsettling, with uncanny dread gathering around familiar places and faces. Viewers who enjoyed the layered teen mystery of Dark, the creeping supernatural unease of The Society, or the school-set intrigue of Elite will find a similar pull here. The series is a Netflix Spanish-language production and carries an adult rating for its disturbing imagery and violence.
