## Synopsis

Tom and Jerry in New York (2021) is an American animated slapstick comedy series created for HBO Max. The classic cat and mouse rivals, Tom and Jerry, settle into the Royal Gate Hotel and turn the big city into a playground of manic escapades. Tuffy, Spike, and Little Quacker are the voices behind the chase, and their chaos spills uptown, downtown, and everywhere the duo wanders. Each 22-minute episode is built from self-contained gags rather than a continuing story, so the engine is simple: Tom schemes, Jerry outmaneuvers him, and the city becomes a backdrop for escalating destruction. The series runs across two seasons and thirteen episodes in a bright, breezy register that favors physical comedy and sight gags over dialogue. Its tone is playful and light, with a nostalgic pull for viewers who grew up with the original shorts. Fans of Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons Adventures, and the classic Tom and Jerry shorts will find the same anarchic rhythm here. The show suits families and younger viewers looking for an easy, funny watch with no heavy stakes.
