## Synopsis

Bloodhounds (2023-2026) is a South Korean action crime drama created by Jason Kim for Netflix, a two-season serialized series of fifteen episodes. Young boxer Kim Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and his fellow fighter Hong Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) are drawn into a dangerous world of debt and loan sharks, and they band together to fight back against ruthless foes who threaten the people they love. Rain plays Im Baek-jeong, Park Sung-woong plays Kim Myeong-gil, and Huh Joon-ho plays Choi Tae-ho among the principal players, with Kim Sae-ron appearing as Hyunjoo. The engine of the show is physical and personal: each episode builds toward brutal street brawls and ring bouts, while the two leads wrestle with loyalty, money, and the cost of protecting family. The story unfolds as one continuing arc across both seasons, with tight plotting and a grim, pressured atmosphere. Set in contemporary Korea, the series has a gritty, urban texture with fast-paced action and a bruised emotional core. Its tone is intense and propulsive, balancing violence with the warmth of a fighter bromance. Fans of Itaewon Class, Creed, and Money Heist will find resonance in its underdog spirit and high-stakes confrontations, making it a strong pick for viewers seeking a Korean webtoon adaptation with relentless momentum.
