## Synopsis

Light on Me (2021) is a South Korean school romance series created by Lee Ji Eum and broadcast on Watcha. Woo Tae-kyung (Lee Sae-on) is a withdrawn high school loner who joins the student council in hopes of meeting people, only to find that making friends is more complicated than he imagined. Around him, Noh Shin-woo (Kang You-seok) and Shin Da-on (Choe Chan-yi) and Namgoong Shi-woon (Go Woo-jin) bring their own tangled histories and feelings into the council room, and Lee So-hee (Yang Seo-hyun) adds another thread of school life. The engine of the series is quiet and personal: awkward conversations, shared chores, lingering glances and the slow realization of who wants what. Told in a single season of sixteen short episodes, it moves at a gentle pace through campus corridors and after-school meetings. Its tone is tender and wistful, with a bright, hopeful warmth. Fans of Heartstopper, Given and classic Korean school dramas will find a similar mix of youthful sincerity and first love in its boys' love romance.
