## Synopsis

Welcome to Eden (Bienvenidos a Edén, 2022-2023) is a Spanish science fiction thriller series created by Joaquín Górriz and Guillermo López Sánchez for Netflix. Five highly visible young people who live their lives on social networks, led by Zoa (Amaia Aberasturi) and Astrid (Amaia Salamanca), are invited to an exclusive party on a secret island organized by a new drink brand. What begins as a glamorous getaway becomes a fight for survival as the guests begin to suspect that their hosts have a hidden agenda and that they are being watched. Zoa and her companions must decide whom to trust while navigating strange community rituals, mounting paranoia and a sense that the island's rules are designed to break them. Across two seasons of eight episodes each, the series moves at a brisk pace through cliffhanger-driven episodes that peel back layers of the island's secrets. The tone is tense and unsettling, with a sleek visual polish set against a menacing, claustrophobic atmosphere. Viewers who enjoy the island mystery of Lost, the cult-like control of The Society and the youthful survival stakes of The 100 will find much to explore here. The series was canceled before its story was finished, leaving its central mystery open.
