## Synopsis

Q-Force (2021) is an American adult animated spy comedy created by Gabe Liedman for Netflix. Steve Maryweather (voiced by Sean Hayes) is a gay superspy who leads a scrappy LGBTQ squad, including Dirk Chunley (Gary Cole), Buck (David Harbour), Stat (Patti Harrison), and V (Laurie Metcalf), all fighting to prove themselves to an agency that has long underestimated them. Wanda Sykes voices Deb and Matt Rogers voices Twink, rounding out a cast that gives the ensemble its bickering rhythm. Each episode builds its story from mission setups, gadget gags, and office politics, with the team stumbling through absurd operations that mock spy movie conventions. The series runs as a single ten-episode season with episodes around twenty-two minutes each, playing as a brash, irreverent romp with crude humor and sharp pop culture jabs. Its tone is campy, raunchy, and affectionate toward its outsider characters, and its themes center on belonging, self-respect, and chosen family. Fans of Archer and The Venture Bros. will find a similar appetite for adult animated spoofing, while viewers who enjoy irreverent LGBTQ comedy will recognize its unapologetic attitude. The show was canceled after its single season, leaving its storylines unfinished.
