## Synopsis

Interview with the Vampire (2022-2024) is an American gothic horror drama created by Rolin Jones for AMC, adapted from Anne Rice's novel and running two seasons across fifteen episodes. Jacob Anderson plays Louis de Pointe du Lac, a centuries-old vampire who sits down with a weary journalist, played by Eric Bogosian, to recount his life of bloodlust. His volatile bond with the rakish Frenchman Lestat de Lioncourt, played by Sam Reid, who turned him, drives the story, and their relationship is marked by obsession, cruelty and an uneasy tenderness. Assad Zaman plays Armand and Bailey Bass and Delainey Hayles share the role of the child vampire Claudia, whose presence reshapes the household. Each season moves through the decades of Louis's existence, from the decadent salons of eighteenth century New Orleans onward, with candlelit interiors, lingering dread and the constant hunger of the undead. Its tone is melancholic, sensual and brooding, with horror that stays intimate rather than splashy. Fans of Penny Dreadful, Dracula and The Vampire Diaries will find resonance in its gothic romance and immortal melancholy.
