## Synopsis

The Winchesters (2022-2023) is an American supernatural drama series created by Robbie Thompson for The CW, a spin-off prequel to Supernatural. Told through the recollections of narrator Dean Winchester, it follows young hunter John Winchester (Drake Rodger) and his future wife Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) as they track monsters across the country while their romance deepens against mounting danger. Their pursuit of answers and each other drives the single season's case-by-case hunts, with the stakes rising as they fight to protect the people they love and the wider world. Alongside them, Latika Desai (Nida Khurshid) and Carlos Cervantez (Jojo Fleites) add a found-family circle of fellow hunters, while Ada Monroe (Demetria McKinney) brings experience and friction to the team. The series runs thirteen episodes across one season and was canceled before its story was complete. Its tone mixes romantic longing with brisk monster action and a nostalgic pull toward the mythology fans already know. Set in the 1970s and 1980s, the stories carry a retro American road-trip feel. Fans of Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Teen Wolf will find familiar hunter-romance and legacy themes here.
