## Synopsis

You Were Never Alone (2021) is a Brazilian documentary series created by Patricia Carvalho and Patricia Cupello for Globoplay. Across seven episodes of roughly thirty-five minutes each, the limited series follows Juliette, the contestant who won over a national audience during one hundred days of Big Brother Brasil. Its engine is curiosity about the person behind the screen: the filmmakers look into her past to explain how an ordinary television presence became a phenomenon, and they follow the uncertain next steps of a woman whose private life is now public property. Interviews and behind the scenes access are paired with reflections from people around her, including singer Anitta, actor Selton Mello and musician Elba Ramalho, who appear as themselves and help map how her fame ripened. The result is a warm, intimate and sometimes reflective portrait of celebrity, shaped by the national conversation that surrounded her. Fans of reality show retrospectives and personal docuseries such as Life Itself will find a similar blend of access and affection. The series suits viewers curious about Brazilian pop culture, the machinery of reality television and the strange intimacy of being adored by strangers.
