## Synopsis

Infiniti (2022) is a French Canal+ science fiction mystery miniseries created by Julien Vanlerenberghe and Stéphane Pannetier. The six-episode limited series opens with the International Space Station gone silent and its crew in distress, while on the ground a decapitated, waxed body turns up on a roof in Kazakhstan and is identified as an American astronaut currently aboard the station. Céline Sallette plays Anna Zarathi, a French astronaut dismissed from the space program, and Daniyar Alshinov plays Isaak Turgun, a Kazakh police officer disowned by his ranking hierarchy. Their partnership drives the story: two outsiders with nothing left to lose chase a paradox that no one in authority will admit exists, and each episode layers a new institutional obstacle over the next clue. Vlad Ivanov and Lex Shrapnel appear among the wider cast. The tone is tense and paranoid, with a cold, procedural atmosphere that blends orbital claustrophobia and dusty Central Asian streets. Fans of The Expanse and The Bridge will find resonance in its blend of space-set intrigue and cross-border investigation, wrapped in a moody, mind-bending mystery.
