## Synopsis

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021) is a South Korean romantic comedy series created by Yoo Je-won and Shin Ha-eun for tvN, a single-season miniseries of sixteen episodes produced by Studio Dragon. Shin Min-a plays Yoon Hye-jin, a big-city dentist who opens a clinic in a close-knit seaside village, and Kim Seon-ho plays Hong Du-sik, the charming jack-of-all-trades who is her polar opposite in every way. Their clash of temperaments drives the engine of the show: she wants a quiet practice and a fresh start, while the village's nosy, generous residents keep pulling her into their daily lives. Each episode is built from small domestic moments, shared meals, neighborly favors, and the routines of harbor life, and the slow-building attraction between the leads plays out against that warm backdrop. Supporting characters including Lee Sang-yi, Gong Min-jeung, and Kim Yeong-ok give the village its lively texture. The tone is gentle, breezy, and comforting, with a wistful, sunlit atmosphere that suits viewers who enjoy slice of life storytelling. Fans of Crash Landing on You and Reply 1988 will find similar warmth in its small town setting and ensemble charm.
