## Synopsis

One the Woman (2021) is a South Korean television mystery drama created by Kim Yoon and broadcast on SBS. Across a single sixteen-episode season, corruption inspector Cho Yeon-joo, played by Lee Hanee, suddenly inherits a great fortune and struggles to recover her own memory while she is pulled into the orbit of a powerful chaebol family. Lee Sang-yun plays Han Seung-wook and Lee Won-keun plays Ahn Yoo-jun, and their shifting loyalties and tangled histories drive the story forward as the protagonist probes what she once knew. Each episode is built around recovered recollections and repeated flashbacks into the family's past, which gradually reshape what the viewer believes about the characters. The engine of the series is the quest to reconstruct a lost identity inside a household where every relationship carries a hidden motive. Its tone is tense and intimate, shading into melodrama when the family storylines take over, and its themes of inheritance, memory, and class privilege give the mystery an emotional core. Fans of Hotel del Luna and The Penthouse will find resonance in its blend of wealth, secrets, and personal reckoning. The series is a self-contained, complete k-drama told across one season.
