## Synopsis

Next Level Chef (2022-present) is an American reality cooking competition created for FOX and hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who appears alongside mentors Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais. Set on an iconic stage rising three stories, the series builds its engine around a culinary gauntlet in which each floor houses a stunningly different kitchen, from a glistening top level to a challenging basement. Contestants must cook under shifting conditions, and the ingredients are matched to each environment, so competitors must prove they can create something excellent in the worst circumstances as well as the best. The format plays out across five seasons of episodes that move briskly from one floor to the next, with eliminations driving the stakes and the mentors offering blunt, pointed coaching. The tone is intense and spectacle-driven, with a competitive edge that stays energetic and entertaining rather than cruel. Fans of Hell's Kitchen, MasterChef and Top Chef will find the same blend of demanding judging, kitchen pressure and culinary showmanship, with a fresh vertical twist on the familiar cooking contest.
