## Synopsis

Bake Squad (2021-2023) is an American reality baking competition created for Netflix, hosted by Christina Tosi. Over two seasons and sixteen forty-five-minute episodes, expert bakers take on commissions from clients who want very special sweets, pushing past ordinary frosting and sponge into elaborate, next-level dessert concepts. Host Christina Tosi guides the teams through briefs, and the contestants, including Maya-Camille Broussard, Ashley Holt, Gonzo Jimenez and Christophe Rull, must carry a concept from sketch to finished confection under time pressure while winning over the people who ordered it. The engine is simple and satisfying: each episode builds toward a reveal where the creation either delights the client or falls short. Set in a contemporary American kitchen, the show has a bright, upbeat, encouraging register, with a playful sense of craft and friendly rivalry rather than harsh elimination drama. Its emotional pleasure lies in watching creative risk pay off in sugar, cream and clever technique. Fans of The Great British Bake Off, Nailed It! and Top Chef will find a similar mix of baking artistry, friendly competition and warm host-driven reality television.
