## Synopsis

Furia (2021-2024) is a Norwegian crime thriller series created by Gjermund Stenberg Eriksen for Prime Video and Viaplay. Policeman Asgeir (Pål Sverre Hagen) moves to an idyllic town on Norway's western coast, hoping for a quiet life after a local conflict. Soon he meets a mysterious woman named Ragna (Ine Marie Wilmann), and the two are pulled into a network of right-wing radical forces whose ambitions reach across Europe. Their engine is a constant tension between the investigation they are running and the danger of being exposed, with each episode built around surveillance, contact with dangerous figures, and split loyalties. Over two seasons the story stays serialized, so every reveal depends on what came before. The series sits in the tradition of European state security thrillers, with a Scandinavian restraint that makes the picturesque landscapes feel uneasy. Its tone is tense, paranoid and bleak, with moments of intimacy between the two leads. Fans of The Night Manager, The Bridge and Homeland will find resonance in its political menace and morally compromised characters. Across fourteen episodes, Furia builds a claustrophobic atmosphere of distrust and slow-burning dread.
