## Synopsis

Full Circle (2023) is a limited series created by Ed Solomon for Max. Across six episodes of roughly fifty-two minutes each, it follows a botched kidnapping in present-day New York City as an investigation pulls at threads that connect several characters and their cultural communities. Inspector Melody Harmony (Zazie Beetz) leads the search, while Sam Browne (Claire Danes) and Derek Browne (Timothy Olyphant) sit at the center of a family whose history is more tangled than it first appears. Jim Gaffigan as Manny Broward, Jharrel Jerome as Aked, and CCH Pounder as Savitri Mahabir round out the principal cast. The engine of the story is the slow accumulation of hidden connections, with each episode peeling back another layer of long-held secrets. The city itself, dense and diverse, gives the investigation its texture. Fans of The Night Of, Big Little Lies, and Law and Order will find resonance in its gritty, morally complicated tone, its patient character work, and its dread-tinged atmosphere of buried history rising to the surface.
