## Synopsis

Angels of Death (2021) is a British animated science fiction series created by Richard Boylan and Boman Modine and distributed under the Warhammer TV banner. Adapted from the Warhammer 40,000 video game universe, it follows a band of Blood Angels Space Marines, led by Captain Orpheo, as they face a dangerous and insidious foe. The series runs for a single ten-episode season of roughly eighteen-minute episodes, giving it a compact, action-driven shape rather than a sprawling saga. Voice performances by Jonathan Keeble, who voices Captain Orpheo and Brother Corro, and Andrew Wincott, who voices Sergeant Ancheus, anchor the squad's dynamic. The engine is simple and direct: the Space Marines must hunt and fight through hostile territory while holding their oaths and their brotherhood together. Each episode is built from close-quarters combat, ritual devotion and tense pursuit against an enemy that creeps in unseen. The tone is grim, martial and atmospheric, with a dark, mythic register and graphic bloodshed. Fans of Warhammer 40,000 lore, Star Wars: Clone Wars and Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars will find resonance in its blend of military brotherhood, militant faith and far-future warfare. The animation is stylized and the mood severe throughout.
