## Synopsis

The Croods: Family Tree (2021-2023) is an American animated family comedy series created by Chris Sanders, Kirk DeMicco and John Cleese for Hulu and Peacock. Set in prehistory, it follows the Croods, a cave family led by Grug (Kiff VandenHeuvel), who must learn to cooperate with a second clan, with Eep (Ally Dixon) as the restless daughter who tests every rule. Their engine is the attempt to turn a fragile, hostile landscape into a shared farm where two families can survive together, so each episode is built from small domestic crises: crops that refuse to grow, clashing customs, rival pride and the everyday dangers of a world full of predators. Across eight seasons and fifty-two episodes of roughly twenty-four minutes, the show stays a lighthearted, sunny blend of slapstick and gentle sincerity rather than a continuous epic. Its tone is warm, breezy and comic, with a strong emphasis on found family and cooperation. Fans of The Croods, Bluey and Trollhunters will find the same playful affection for family and community. The series is accessible for children and adults alike.
