## Synopsis

Wolfe is a British crime drama created by Paul Abbott for Sky Max, a single run of six episodes, each around forty-four minutes long. Babou Ceesay plays Wolfe Kinteh, a crime scene investigator in the north of England, alongside Natalia Tena as Valerie Kinteh and Christine Tremarco as DCI Betsy Chambers. The series follows a methodical investigator as he moves through the evidence of violent crimes, piecing together the truth at each scene. Personal life and professional duty press against one another at home and on the job, giving the show its emotional weight. Its tone is gritty and grounded, with a bleak, rain-soaked northern atmosphere and a stubborn, humane warmth in its central relationships. Set in present-day northern England, it sits within the tradition of British police dramas, favouring procedural patience over spectacle. Viewers who enjoy Happy Valley, Line of Duty and Luther will find resonance in its grounded investigative style, morally textured characters and regional character. The result is a tense, serious watch that rewards attention to detail and to the people caught in the aftermath of violence.
