## Synopsis

Remarriage & Desires (2022) is a South Korean melodrama miniseries created by Lee Geun-young and released on Netflix. Across eight hour-long episodes, it follows women who enlist an exclusive matchmaking agency in pursuit of a desirable bachelor and a place in the highest echelon of society. Seo Hye-seung (Kim Hee-seon) leads a cast that includes Lee Hyung-ju (Lee Hyun-wook), Jin Yoo-hui (Eugene Jung), and Cha Seok-jin (Park Hoon), whose romantic and social ambitions collide with secrets, shifting alliances, and the fragile arithmetic of marriage. The engine of the story is the hunt for a suitable husband, with each episode turning on courtship maneuvers, status anxieties, and the consequences of past betrayals. Its shape is a single contained arc rather than a case of the week, and its heightened emotional register keeps the viewer invested in each reversal. A glossy, tightly paced k-drama production with the bruising intimacy of a melodrama, it is a fit for fans of The Penthouse and The Glory, who will find similar pleasure in ambition, class rivalry, and wounded romance.
