## Synopsis

Rich Girl Caretaker: I'm Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School (2026) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series produced by Brain's Base and aired on MBS. Based on a light novel, the twelve-episode series follows ordinary student Itsuki Tomonari (voiced by Yuto Uemura) who is secretly assigned to look after Hinako Konohana (voiced by Konomi Kohara), the graceful, flawless heiress admired across an elite academy. Hinako is a disaster at basic chores, so Itsuki spends his days in constant damage control, covering for her helplessness and protecting the perfect image everyone believes in. Supporting characters include Mirei Tennouji (voiced by Saori Onishi), Narika Miyakojima (voiced by Rio Tsuchiya) and Shizune Tsurumi (voiced by Ami Koshimizu), whose rivalries and friendships add to the bustle of school life. Each episode is a run of awkward mishaps, close calls and small rescues that gradually tilt into something warmer and more tender. The tone is light, breezy and playful, with a sweet undercurrent of longing. Fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Tonikaku Kawaii will find resonance in its polished school setting and slow-burning romantic tension. Set in a contemporary Japanese high school, it is a brisk, self-contained comedy that rewards viewers who enjoy charming, character-driven escapades.
