## Synopsis

Hold on, Harutora-kun is a Japanese boys' love high school drama created by あめきり and broadcast on MBS. Set in a contemporary all-boys boarding school, it follows Sui Kishida, an upperclassman who is already out and hides behind indifference, masks and a flat expression to survive the teasing aimed at him in his dorm. His carefully built walls begin to shift when Harutora Kurobe, a warm and honest new roommate one grade below him, moves into his room. The engine of the series is quiet and personal: Sui wants to be left alone, but Harutora's sincere curiosity pushes him to examine what he actually wants from life and from the people around him. Episodes are built from small dorm moments, awkward classroom exchanges and gradual confidences rather than big plot machinery. Supporting friendships and rivalries widen the dormitory world. The tone is gentle, wistful and sincere, with a slow burn emotional pull and a tender focus on self acceptance. Fans of Heartstopper and Given will find resonance in its warm, coming of age romance, delivered in a compact eight episode run.
