## Synopsis

Bittersweet Love (2026) is a Chinese and Singaporean boys' love romance miniseries broadcast on Viki and GagaOOLala, produced by Bai Xiaoyu Studio. Across a single twelve-episode season of thirty-six minute episodes, the story follows a poor young man named Lu Xiaofan (Guan Yue) who finds himself trapped in a sham marriage into a wealthy household. His growing attachment to his wife's older brother Bei Lvqing (Yan Ruihao) becomes the engine of the series, pulling him toward a forbidden romance that threatens everything he has built within the family. Supporting roles include Bei Lvxin (Li Juexuan) and Lu Tao (Han Minglin), whose entanglements add pressure to every secret the household keeps. The series moves through domestic confrontations, quiet longing, and the mounting cost of keeping appearances in a rich family's home. Its tone is angsty and emotionally charged, with a melancholic undercurrent. Fans of Addicted and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God will find resonance in its slow-burn romance, class tension, and forbidden desire. Presented as a contained miniseries, it offers a complete romantic arc in a compact runtime.
