## Synopsis

The Prosecutor's Proposal (2026) is a South Korean miniseries created by Hebok for wavve. Prosecutor Lee Chae-ha (Park Si-woo) and investigator Ju Tae-seon (Yoon Do-gun) are bound by the crimes of their fathers, one a victim and one a killer, and their reunion pulls them into a murder case that touches the prosecution office itself. Their engine is a hunt for the truth against colleagues who would rather bury it, with false accusations and buried evidence forcing each move. Supporting roles include Kim Jung-tae as Tak Seong-woong, Cho Min-gyu as Song Ha-neul, and Lee Ga-kyung as Han Su-jin. Across ten half-hour episodes, the series builds a serialized legal and criminal investigation in which every revelation tightens the bond between the two men. The tone is taut and emotionally charged, with a quiet undercurrent of romance and a sense that the institutions meant to deliver justice are compromised. Its atmosphere sits between a Korean legal thriller and a character-driven workplace drama, and fans of Stranger and The Wire will find resonance in its layered corruption plot and morally tangled investigators.
