## Synopsis

Morpheus (2026-present) is a Polish crime drama series created for SkyShowtime, a national-television style gangster series with a grounded, seedy European underworld texture. Kamil Szeptycki plays Piotr Leyer, a lawyer whose life tilts into the criminal world after a tragic twist of fate leaves him at the head of a criminal gang. Andrzej Grabowski appears as Old Leyer, a figure whose shadow hangs over the family's dealings, while Mateusz Kmiecik plays the gang figure known as Moro, Sylwia Gola plays Ewa, Józefina Siwko plays Marika, and Andrzej Konopka plays Roman. The engine of the story is the struggle of a man who never chose violence trying to hold a crew together, keep his legal training useful, and survive rivals and loyalties that shift with every deal. The show runs as a single season of seven hour-long episodes, a serialized arc where each installment tightens the pressure on Piotr. Its tone is tense, sober and foreboding, with moral unease running beneath every negotiation and threat. Fans of Gomorrah, Narcos and Better Call Saul will find resonance in its portrait of a reluctant criminal drawn deeper into an underworld he never wanted. The series is currently on air and its story is still unfolding.
